Office 365 tips and tricks that you may not know about

Office 365 often gets new features. Here is a list of some cool things you could do to improve your daily business needs.

Recall an Email

Oops! You’ve sent a wrong email to a wrong person?
Don’t worry, because Office 365 can save you! Outlook has a message recall function.

Just open your sent message, and under the Actions submenu on the ribbon, select Recall This Message.
There will be two options: “Delete unread copies of this message”, and “Delete unread copies and replace with a new message”

Keep in mind that the recall will be applied only to unread emails.

Version History

Accidental deletions happen. If you are an Office 365 user who saves Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents onto OneDrive and SharePoint, you can easily revert them to previous versions.

Right-click on the file you want to restore, click on the Version History option and select the older version.

Version history works with all file types, including Office documents (docx., pptx., xlsx.), PDFs, photos, videos, CAD files, etc.

Share files via a link

There is no need to attach large files to emails anymore because you can simply send links to them. First, you have to upload the file to your OneDrive cloud storage, and then paste the link into the email. Just make sure that you provide the right permissions (edit or read-only) to the recipients!

Work Offline

You have no internet connection? No problem. You can work on your Word, Excel or PowerPoint files even when you’re offline. Changes will sync automatically as soon as your device is connected to the internet.

To use this feature, enable Offline Acess under the Settings menu.
