Through our demo, we’ll show which novelties have been added to the Office 365 E5 corporate plan – a new premium cloud-based productivity and collaboration suite designed for teams, focused on analytics and online meetings.

Tijekom travnja, svibnja i lipnja proveli smo anketu vezanu uz IT potrebe u Hrvatskoj, čiji je cilj bio otkriti s kojim se izazovima korisnici informacijskih tehnologija svakodnevno susreću u svom poslovanju.

U današnje vrijeme je za kvalitetno poslovanje važno imati adekvatan IT, no svjesni smo da su uz postizanje tog cilja vezani raznorazni izazovi. Kako bismo bar malo pomogli anketiranima, na svaki zaprimljeni upitnik s dozvolom za odgovor smo dali besplatan savjet koji ih usmjerava ka rješenju njihovih problema. U slučaju da iz bilo kojeg razloga niste zaprimili odgovor, a naznačili ste kako ga želite, ljubazno molimo da nas kontaktirate i dostavit ćemo vam ga ponovo.

Rezultati ankete

U anketi je sudjelovalo oko 2500 ispitanika, a obrađene rezultate možete vidjeti u priloženim grafovima. Što se tiče rezultata, odgovore smo svrstali u nekoliko kategorija.

Ispitanici su se najviše žalili na sporost sustava (34%), dok su zaposlenici u edukativnim ustanovama naglasili kako im je najveći problem zastarjelost opreme (22%). Od ostalih fizičkih ograničenja internetska veza stvara probleme kod 16% ispitanika.

23% ispitanika kaže kako su prevelike cijene softvera, hardvera i održavanja sustava.

U nešto manjem broju su problemi vezani uz IT okolinu: sigurnost (7%), e-mail problemi (6%), kolaboracija dokumenata (9%) te nedostatak mobilnosti (1.5%).

Naravno, tu su uvijek prisutni izazovi vezani uz korisnike i administratore sustava – 11% ispitanika reklo je kako su im u organizaciji nedovoljno educirani djelatnici, 7% ispitanika se žali na lošu IT podršku, dok 6% kaže kako ih muči loša educiranost korisnika.

.. dok problema nema 1.5% ispitanika, koji ili posjeduju savršen IT sustav, ili se ne služe informacijskim tehnologijama u poslovanju. 🙂

What is SP User Redirect?

SP User Redirect is a SharePoint hosted add-in created so you could easily redirect your team members or specific people to a particular internal or external site when they visit certain pages on SharePoint.

How does it work?

You can easily set redirection policies to SharePoint Groups or Users, as well as prioritize your rules. This add-in has many uses; for example, if you have your site configured based on a public/private subsite hierarchy, this add-in can be used when you want your site visitors to be redirected to the public subsite of the main site and the site members to be redirected to a private subsite of the same site. Another usage example is where you have a full report for managers and a reduced report for the workers. After setting up your rules, you can easily create a Report page, add the add-in part to it, and after visiting the page, managers/workers would be redirected to a full/reduced report according to settings. That way all users target the same URL, but receive the results you want them to get.

Inline Deduplication

The inline deduplication eliminates and reduces duplicate data which helps you manage exponential growth. In the flash-optimized data reduction process, it is the second data reduction stage that processes and consolidates data before it is written. The benefit of this kind of deduplication is that duplicate blocks are never written to the destination.

In the illustration below you can see how the original data is reduced via the deduplication process.

Data reduction with deduplication alone could reach to up to 30:1 (96.7% savings).

Our COO, Hrvoje Kusulja, will be presenting about admin novelties related to the Office 365 E5 plan, and managing of the services within Office 365.

Hrvoje will show various options within the Office 365 Admin portal menu from an information technology aspect, explain the relationship with Azure and Intune, with a focus on Yammer, OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business and other cloud services.
