On November 1st, 2024, Microsoft introducedĀ Windows Server 2025, a revolutionary step forward in server operating systems. This release is engineered to transform IT infrastructures with enhanced security, unmatched performance, and seamless cloud integration. Most notably,Ā Windows Server 2025 prioritizes better compatibility with all other major operating systems, making it a game-changer for diverse IT environments.
As of October 10th, 2023, Microsoft will stop providing technical support, security updates, and bug fixes for Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2. It applies to all license versions: Standard, Datacenter, Essentials, Foundation, and for Embedded Systems.
